Le tariffe negli ostelli della gioventù a Stoccolma partono dalle 150 SEK per letto in un dormitorio e 350 SEK per una camera privata. Queste tariffe non sono necessariamente meno care degli alberghi che offrono pacchetti scontati acquistabili per i mesi estivi. Una camera doppia è disponibile a partire da 399 SEK a persona inclusa la colazione, la tessera per l'autobus e la metropolitana, l'entrata gratuita in 50 luoghi d'interesse e 8 escursioni in traghetto gratuite.

Dal momento che i bambini sotto i 18 anni accompagnati da genitori non pagano, due persone di 18 anni, che viaggiano con due persone di 17 anni, possono avere un appartamento residence di due stanze a sole 200 SEK a persona incluso i vantaggi del pacchetto ma escluso la colazione.

Una buona idea quindi è quella di lasciare che il sistema di prenotazione degli alberghi calcoli il costo totale prima di decidere dove prenotare.
