Silk Weavery Museum

K. A. Almgren´s Silk Weavery Museum gives you the full story of Jaquard´s invention in 1804 and how the fifth generation of Almgrens still create silk fabrics for palaces and manors. Today this silk mill is one of the oldest preserved industrial environment in Scandinavia and the only remaining mill north of the Alps. The museum will be renovated during 2005, will be reopened in september.
