In order to save your weary feet, we have lovingly optimized your shopping walks to the essentials and made a map out of it. Red lines mark general shopping streets, blue lines show the antique and art district. At the top are the main shopping streets in the downtown area. Total walking distance about 3 kms (2 miles), including the two biggest indoor malls in town (Gallerian and Sturegallerian) and passing the three biggest department stores (NK, PUB and Åhlens).
In the center is the Old Town - one stop away on the subway, which will add another kilometer to your walk. And finally, at the bottom of the map - SOFO (South Of FOlkungagatan), a trendy boutique area on Stockholm's south island, two more stops on the subway. Not quite SOHO, but the nearest we've got.
