View from Västerlånggatan

Västerlånggatan (the eastern long street) originally ran in a semi-circle along and inside the old town wall and ends in the Järntorget (Iron market) square, where Österlånggatan (the eastern long street) takes over and leads back to the Royal Palace. Along the street you find shops, art galleries, restaurants and cafées.

Facing south: The direction towards Järntorget.

Facing west: The House of Nobility is just down the Storkyrkobrinken street.

Facing east: Looking up the hilly part of Storkyrkobrinken you can see the west walls of the Royal Palace and Storkyrkan, the cathedral of Stockholm.

Facing north: The Mynttorget square in front of the Parliament building.
