Getting to Visby from Stockholm is really easy and quite affordable. You can fly from Bromma Airport by either Skyways or Gotlandsflyg, the flying time is 35 mins. Visby airport is just 3 kms from the city center and the trip takes less than 10 minutes by taxi.
Or you can take a ferry from Nynäshamn, which lies south of Stockholm and is easily reached by commuter trains (1 hour), which stop at the ferry terminal. The trip is around 3 hours, depending on the ship. The line is operated by Destination Gotland.
