Kalmar, Kingdom of glass & Öland
The delightful and ancient port of Kalmar lies 420 kms south of Stockholm and 370 kms northeast of Copenhagen. Major sights include the impressive Kalmar Castle, Sweden's "kingdom of Glass" and the island of Öland, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Distances are such that we recommend an overnight or two and provide additional information for that purpose.
