FjäderholmarnaStockholm's nearest archipelago islands lie off Djurgården, between Nacka and Lidingö. You reach the island group via a 25-minute boat ride from the City. The main island has many restaurants, fish smokehouses and places to have a coffee. There are barbecue grills for people who want to bring their own food. Blasted into the side of a mountain is the large Baltic Aquarium (Östersjöakvarium) where you can study fish close up that otherwise swim freely in the waters right around Stockholm and in the archipelago.
