Dalarna - Lake Siljan.
Dalarna (Dalecarlia in English) is one of Sweden's largest provinces, located some 300 kilometers northwest of Stockholm. In Dalarna there are several cities such as Falun and Borlänge and also major ski resorts such as Sälen, but in this section we will deal exclusively with the picturesque area around Lake Siljan and the small towns of Mora, Orsa, Rättvik and Leksand that have been popular tourist destinations for more than a century.
