Birka the Viking Town

This is a popular archeological site where discoveries are still being made about the Viking Town Birka that existed there twelve hundred years ago. It's also become a tourist attraction and a day-trip. It's fun for anyone interested in Vikings and the goings on of the barbaric times when pludering and buring down villages was the norm. In those days the women were warriors and the men drank ale and yelled things like "heeyvuja"!
