Sports clubs

There are many gyms and sports clubs available in the city, and all of then within arms reach of a subway station. There you can get your heart going on a tread mill and then hop over to the weights and work on your abs. Many clubs also offer different kinds of fitness classes, everything from Thai boxing to spinning. Stockholms studenters IF

The Stockholm Student organization's own athletic club that offers about a million different courses and classes as well as gym facilities. The good thing is that it's definitely cheaper than a lot of the other gyms in town since it's aimed at the Stockholm student's very shallow pockets. Anyone is welcome, but students get discounts.

Grace Tjejgym

This is a girls only gym where the focus on body image is put aside and health steps up to the plate. All women, all ages are welcome, and they offer rehabilitee training as well as personal training.

Friskis & Svettis City

This is basically a household name in Sweden, everybody knows at least three people that go to this place a couple times a week. The club is nationwide and offers affordable workouts without any pretentious vibes. It's also one of the oldest clubs. Wear your sweats, and get into the groove.

S.A.T.S Sports Club

This is a very popular club. Many Stockholmers pride themselves on their bodies because of this place. It can be found in many locations, and they offer tons and tons of different workouts. The address listed below is one of their locations, right smack in the middle of town.
