Open Top Bus Tour

Experience Stockholm on open top double decker buses. The tour passes most of the sights in Stockholm. Get on and off the bus as often as you like at the different bus stops. The ticket is valid for 24 hours. Guiding is offered in eight different languages through individual earphones.

1. Kungsträdgården. Opposite NK is the Sweden House, containing Stockholm’s largest tourist agency, which can provide information about both Stockholm and Sweden. The park combines the old and new parts of Stockholm.

2. Nybroplan / Fjäderholmarna and Djurgården Boats. This is the terminal for boats to the closest islands in the archipelago, the Fjäderholm islands. The boats depart every half hour to Fjäderholm islands and every twenty minutes to Djurgården from May-September. • Hop-On Hop-Off BoatSightseeing

4. Skansen. Our open air museum, containing historic buildings, a zoo, terrarium, folk dance performances etc. . 5. Djurgårdsbron. Here you can reach the Historical Museum, an interesting museum where you can visit the “gold room” and other collections.

6. Stureplan. A popular meeting in Stockholm, but also one of Stockholm's "shopping centres".

8. Mynttorget Opposite the parliament building and the Royal Palace. This is where Västerlånggatan starts, a very popular pedestrian street in Gamla Stan.

9. Strömkajen / Sightseeing boats. The Stockholm Sightseeing boats depart from the Ström quay once every half hour.

10. Gustav Adolf Square, with the Royal Opera.

11. City Hall, with guided tours every day.

12. Stadshusbron / Mälaren boats. Boats depart from there to the Drottningholm palace, and to Birka - the former Viking settlement. Sightseeing tours around Kungsholmen island are also available.

14. Kulturhuset. The House of Culture building, partly built of glass, is Stockholm’s cultural centre.
