attractions, Millesgården and Waldemarsudde. Millesgården is the
former home and working studio of world famous sculptor Carl Milles (1875
1955). Waldemarsudde is the former home of Prince Eugene. Prince Eugene,
known in Sweden as the Painter Prince, was not only a collector of
mainly 19th century art but also a good artist himself. Many of these paintings
are also on display at Waldemarsudde. DROTTNINGHOLM PALACEVisit the Drottningholm Palace situated on the shore of Lake
Mälaren. This beautiful palace, built in the 17th century, is today the
residence of the Royal Family. On the tour you will see unique interiors from
the last centuries as well as the surrounding park. At Drottningholm is also
the Drottningholm Theatre, which is the oldest theatre in the world preserved
in its original state and with original machinery still in use. MARIEFRED AND GRIPSHOLMAn excursion by bus to the picturesque and well-preserved town of
Mariefred on Lake Mälaren. The town's history is frequently connected with
Gripsholm Castle and the kings who have lived there. In Mariefred, you will
enjoy a guided tour of the castle and the town. There will also be time for you
to stroll around on your own or to shop in some of the quaint little shops in
