Climbing
Climbing, whether it's indoors or outdoors is a heck of a lot of fun. The sore muscles and worn out hands that are a given seem silly when you finally tackle that one wall successfully. The summer is a natural season for climbing outdoors, and Stockholm offers a variety of both basic and advanced cliffs. Regardless of whether you want bouldering, safe bolted routes or any other form of climbing, you will find it in the Stockholm area.

Indoor climbing
Klättercentret
Klättercentret Solna,
Banvaktsvägen 20, 171 48 Solna Stockholm, Sweden (They have a big
bouldering area).
Klätterverket
Järnvägsgatan 7, Nacka 08
641 1048, A large indoor rock climbing center, with 1000m2 of climbing area, 32
top rope routes, 6 lead rope routes and loads of bouldering opportunities. The
walls are approximately 14m high. There are showers in the changing rooms and
course are available.
Karbin
Västberga Allé 60, +46 8-744 38 40 , there are about 430 square
meters of wall there, 27 permanent top ropes and the walls are approximately
7-13m high.
Vertikal
This is a newly opened indoor climbing gym. They have the latest and equipment and the highest walls (up to 25 meters! That's high incase you're not used to the metric system.) But the equipment is also very new and after bouldering a couple hours your hands will be more sore than you might find comfortable.
Outdoor climbing
When heading outdoors it's important to be safe. We cannot stress this enough. Therefore we'll link you to the Swedish Climbing Organization so they can answer any and all questions you might have. Their web site is also packed with links and other useful information. They have the best seasonal information regarding outdoor climbing.
