Biking

Taking the bike-tour of Stockholm is an efficient and lovely venture. It's for anyone who's looking for exercise or just wants to get the feel of a city by swooshing through it. Since the city's filled with bike-paths, it's easy to get from one place to another, and a great "biking in Stockholm" pamphlet is available from the Stockholm Visitors Board. Stockholmers in general more often than not use a bike whenever possible, but of course not if it will ruin an outfit.

Stockholm City Bikes have bike stands distributed throughout the whole of Stockholm inner-city. If you want to borrow a bike, buy a card (SEK 25:- /24 h) at Stockholm Tourist Center or at your nearest SL Centre. For more information, Stockholm City Bikes.
