Stockholm Airports

The greater Stockholm area is serviced by four airports, Arlanda (ARN), Bromma (BMA), Skavsta (NYO) and Västerås (VST).

Arlanda (ARN) is located 43 kms (25 miles) north of the city and is the main airport for both domestic and international traffic. Almost all international carriers fly here.

Bromma (BMA) is the city airport, located in the western suburbs. Malmö Aviation provides shuttle service to a.o Malmö and Gothenburg from here and their partner SN Brussels to Brussels.

Skavsta (NYO) is located 100 kms south of Stockholm at the town of Nyköping. It is serviced by low fare airlines such as Ryanair, which has its hub for northern Europe here.

Västerås airport (VST) is located about 120 kms (65 miles) west of Stockholm near the town of Västerås. Ryanair provides daily low fare connections to London Stansted from here.

Taxi

Ask the dispatcher to call up a car from "Taxi Stockholm" which offers a special flat rate of (tips included). They accept Visa and Master Card. Travelling time about 40 minutes. The flat rate applies only to trips from the airport.

Airport trains

Stockholm: Arlanda Express
