Do not bring personal cheques as they are very expensive and time consuming to cash, plus require an account in a Swedish bank.

Automatic Teller Machines

There are two types of automatic cash dispensing machines; "Bankomat," and "Minuten". The differences are in the bank service; i.e., commercial bank or savings bank. VISA, MasterCard, Eurocard and similar cards can be used in either one.
